Good morning everyone! I’m loving Bolivia more and more. I’m never getting tired of watching and hearing all the stories of how God has been leading. It’s so amazing to watch and experience God laying out a plan for our lives. This past week I have been trying to get my VISA and for one reason or another it is getting delayed. I know that God is still leading so I’m excited to know why He is delaying me getting my VISA.
I am making some awesome friends here and starting to explore the city of Santa Cruz. This next week is going to be very interesting, there is going to be a festival going on in most of Bolivia that, from what I hear, is like Mardi Gras X10. I guess I’m going to be inside the house I’m staying in, or the TV Station during the whole thing. From what people tell me there will be a lot of drunken men partying all over town 24/7 from Friday night till Monday morning with non-stop loud music. Please pray for all the missionaries down here this weekend.
I have spent this week working on getting things ready for when I will be teaching at GuayarmerÃn. I have been asked to make a weekly video on what is going on there. The food here is delicious, Breakfast is usually oatmeal with bananas and brown sugar. Lunch I eat with the people from TV Station and it is a lot of fun trying to cook with them not knowing each others languages very well. For dinner some friends and I have found a small shop at a corner that sells fruit and sandwiches for 9 bs. ($1.10ish). Its close to the same price as if I bought it from the market and made it for myself. I have taken some video and will be trying to post it on youtube and here are some pictures below. Have a wonderful day!
